March 20, 2024 Astralis CEO, Sadie Duffy was proud to be asked to support the AAS Goddard Science Symposium panel on The Strongest Footing: The Future Space Workforce. She and her colleagues explored some of the challenges and success stories for maintaining and growing a robust workforce to support space-related science and technology research.
Topics included the effectiveness of a formal and informal mentorship program, the differences in motivation and empowerment in a generational workforce, and common misconceptions about the youngest generation entering the workforce. By identifying the differences in individual needs across the workforce, we are better able to meet their demands and ensure they feel connected, listend to, and provided with challenging opportunities.
